We will run on the paths on the park, located just across the street from the Westin Hotle in Westmister. The Promenade Park is located just accross the street and is a great park for the start/finish of our races. We have a stage area for the music and awards and plenty of parking. CANDY CANE RUNS- 5k and 10k Courses
5k Race for 2026
Now that the new pPark Area is open...we can run West for our first loop and back in for the 5k runners... flat, fast and some nice views. Easy for kids and strollers.
10k Course....5k + East Loop
10k runners will run the first 2.9 miles with the 5k runners...then head Eastbound to add on 1.5 miles out...and return back to make the 10k distance. Also a fast and flat course...1 added water stop at turn around then back home

This years gift is a pair of soft cotton/poly gloves to keep your hands warm on cool mornings. Past years have been beanies, hats, scarfs,...and we make changes every year to different items runners can use! (Color is pending for 2026)
Finisher Medallion/Ornament
A unique concept we do with our Finisher Medallions.... the End-Piece of each Finisher Medal...un-clips and turns into a TREE ORNAMENT. Each year is a bit different and great to remember each year of the Candy Cane Run.
FINISHER MUG
The gifts just keep coming...Every year there is a different Finisher Mug. In years past we have had ceramic, aluminium, and hand made clay mugs... This year a bit more ornate and colorful. The exact mug is a surprise at the finish line...with a Candy Cane. This year, we have 3 options to choose from, as we had left over mugs from years prior. (2026 Design Ccoming Soon)

The Finish Line EXPO becomes a HOLIDAY PARTY with music, games, contests and plenty of snacks, cookies, ginger bread and even DONUTS for the kids that don't get enough sugar from all the candy canes

The CANDY CANE RUN wouldn't be complete without the candy canes. From green ones, red ones, fruity ones and TRADITIONAL. We will have them in your Mugs when you cross the finish line. And if you REALLY LIKE peppermint...stop by the "Adult" drink booth for a treat.
